Ashcombe's Weddings are personally created for your special day. This package contains ideas and prices as an example of what can be created to suit your special needs and requirements.
Situated on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula you can choose to have your ceremony and/or reception from specifically selected locations throughout our magnificent and internationally acclaimed gardens. Ashcombe Garden Gazebo has been designed specifically with weddings in mind. Located in a central position in the gardens it overlooks beautiful water features and an exotic tree forest. It is perfect for the gathering of guests to view your ceremony. You will have the choice of many picturesque areas on our property to hold your ceremony and each one will make a wonderful backdrop for photography/video to make your special day one to remember.
With over thirty years of hospitality and function experience we have a wealth of ideas and knowledge that will enhance your own plans and please be assured that every small detail will be attended to.

PACKAGE 1 - $490.00* WEDDING CEREMONY & PHOTOGRAPHS
This package includes:

Ceremony in any area of the property including the Garden Gazebo & Centre Garden.
- Use of the gardens for all your photographs.

Entry to the Maze and Gardens for the Bridal Couple and Guests.

Staff attendance for car parking and personal guidance of your guests to ceremony area

Table with quality table linen for signing your wedding certificate

PACKAGE 2 THE TERRACE SELECTION - COCKTAIL FOOD $65.00* per person
This package includes a delightful selection of gourmet finger food served both hot and cold by our experienced staff continuously for 3 hours following your ceremony.
The following menu has been designed as an example and we will construct your menu to cater for your personal requirements.
Antipasto Platter - Large platters of Olives, Semi-Sun Dried Tomatoes, Salami, Pesto Dip, Bocconcini, Local Smoked Beef, Oven Baked Capsicum
Dip Selection - Fresh Gourmet Dips served with Fresh Vegetables Crudites & Wafers
Mini Vol au Vents - Served hot with assorted filling
Hot Chicken Satay - Served with a Peanut Dipping Sauce
Pumpernickel - Assorted toppings include: Caper Spread with Atlantic Salmon, Country Style Smoked Beef with homemade Spicy Relish, whipped Avodado with fresh Coriander, Asparagus with Prosciutto - as an example
Individual Spiced Meat Delights - Served with assorted dipping sauces

PACKAGE 3 - THE GARDEN BUFFET $75.00* per person
First Course - A delightful selection of gourmet Nibbles and Savouries. Both hot and cold pieces will be served by our staff continuously for the duration of the pre-dinner drinks.
Second Course - Beef, Pork or Lamb. Tenderly cooked on the open spit, carved and served Buffet Style with a Red Wine Demi Glaze. One meat choice. Vegetarian Meals available on requests.
Gourmet Salads - Selection of Salads with appropriate Dressings
Whole Baked Potatoes - Served with Sour Cream & fresh Chives
Seasonal Vegetables - Selection of fresh local vegetables
Assorted Bread Roll Basket
Dessert - Platters of Cheese and Fresh Seasonal Fruit

PACKAGE 4 - THE AMAROO BANQUET $85.00* per person
First Course - A delightful selection of Gourmet Nibbles and Savouries. Both hot and cold pieces will be served by our staff continuously for the duration of the pre-dinner drinks.
Second Course - alternate of each dish will be served to each table.
Whole Chicken Breast poached in White Wine and Coconut Milk. Served with Rice Pilaf and finished with a Fruit and Coriander Salsa. Side serving of Fresh Seasonal Vegetables.
Whole Roast of Beef encrusted with Horseradish, Dijon Mustard and Rosemary, sliced finely then served with rich Red Wine Demi Glaze. Presented with Whole Roasted Potato with a serving of freshly steamed Seasonal Vegetables
Assorted Bread Roll Basket on each table
Bowl of Garden Fresh Sald with Dressing.
Vegetarian Dishes can be prepared if required.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Duration of reception is for a period of 5 hours taking into consideration the starting time and noice restriction
- Due to license restrictions all functions will have the beverage bar closed at 10:30pm. You will then have an additional 30 minutes to farewell your guests and comple the evening before we start to clear

Noise is to be maintained at an acceptable level. In regards to music we suggest mild forms of play. We can recommend musicians that perform locally if required.

Any damage to the Maze and Gardens or equipment is your liability and you will be sent an account if there are need for repairs.

A holding deposit for your booking of $500.00 is required when you confirm your function date and arrangements. This becomes non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Guest numbers including the Bridal Party will need to be approximated 60 days prior to booked date to give all parties a fair indication of costs.

First instalment of 75% of the total cost is required 60 days prior to the function date.

Final payment of balance (25%) is due prior to 7 days before the function date. We suggest that this be done when you confirm exact guest numbers. You will be billed for these exact numbers on the day of the function even if you have non-arrivals.

The quoted prices will be confirmed once all the details are correct. They are valid until June 2006. All prices quoted are GST inclusive. |
